| Amber Erickson + Erik Gabbey Wedding |

I was not the photographer for this, but still took my camera long to try to catch a few good shots! I think I was successful!

Amber was a good friend of my from elementary and high school. They were married at the Gale Woods Farm in Minnetrista, MN near Minnetonka! It was such a beautiful wedding and day! So fun!

Holding hands during the ceremony! I had a pretty decent spot to sit that I could get this close! Erik's dad did the ceremony! Most of the good pictures I got were from the ceremony!
Bridesmaids ... pretty ladies!
Best Woman! I love her expression in this photo!
They were holding hands ... so cool!
This big kiss!
Different cropping!
I caught another great expression!
And lastly, a family photo! Too bad my kids are not looking :)

I Lied

I found a few more things I would love to share!

My sister's car that my dad re-did ... it was my great-grandma's car!

1981 Malibu!

1950

I am caught up, but I just thought of something else I wanted to share with you!

This is my dad's car and I LOVE how this picture turned out!

YAY!!

I think I am all caught up on everything ... not it's just tweeking the little parts of the blog and adding tabs and websites and such! I have a busy October coming up so I know there will be some great pictures to share! I have my first senior session the beginning of October and we are also doing Miss A's 6 month pictures the beginning of August! Plus, figuring everyone keeps their appts I have a few others to do of people that aren't friends or family! Yippee!

Mr. Caden is 9 months old .. holy cow!

Caden is growing even faster than Morgan did it seems like! Before you know it we will be celebrating his one year birthday ... AHH! Mommy is not ready for him to grow up! Here are some pictures we shot for his 9 month :)

He was way more interested in the grass than anything else!
This is such a dorky photo, but I just love his face in this one that I had to post it!
About the best one that we got while outside!
LOVE LOVE LOVE!
My little football player!

My first engagement session!

My brother is engaged to be married next April so they asked me if I would do some engagement pictures for them ... heck yes! This was my first engagement session so of course I had to search for some ideas. I had a few of my own, but I didn't want to do the usual boring pictures.  Chelsie, Troy's fiance, put in a lot of good ideas as well. We took the pictures down here in Kasson and it was so easy going and fun! My brother was quite the character the majority of the time, but you'll have that ;)

This is probably one of my favorite pictures that we took ... it's so simple and totally them! I also really like the old building that we took them by! Plan on using that in an upcoming senior session:)
I found this one online, and made it my own! Chelsie thought I was crazy for doing it, but I think it turned out pretty darn good!
Okay, so there is something to say about this one. Not only was it a pain in the ass to take this photo and I stained my cute white capris in the process, but it didn't turn out how I wanted it to either. Live and learn! I'm glad I at least tried to take this photo. I think if I would have gotten a better angle on it and also had a different lens that would have blurred the front of the bark more it would have turned out more how I wanted it to! Still a cool pic though!
Yep, really like this one! Troy liked it because he thought it made him look thinner :)
Another real simple one... I assisted in picking out there clothes, but then didn't think about them together so I apologize for that!
Love my angle on this one .. wish I would have realized Troy had his sunglasses on and Chelsie did not!

Hello ... Morgan is 2! When did that happen?

My baby girl is a 2 year old! I just cannot believe how fast time goes by, seriously! She's only a little over 2 now so there are a few more pictures I would like to take of her, but here is some of my favorites! We did tutu pictures! yahoo!

I may have over done her eyes here, but I just love her eyes so much so I kinda like it!
I posted this one on Facebook and it was by far the favorite of everyone! I didn't expect it to be liked so much, but there ya go!
We had her hair all curled pretty and then we hit the humidity and it was gone!

Mr. R (Miss J's older brother)

Along with having the opportunity to photography Miss J as a newborn, I also got the opportunity to photograph Mr. R, her older brother! Mr. R is a super sweet 3 year old with the cutest cheesy smiles! I had a lot of fun taking pictures of him, it was like we were on an adventure!

Practicing on My Nieces

The first week in August, our nieces, Cassie and Alexis, came to stay with us.  A couple years back we had taken some pictures of them and put them in a fram for their mom for Mother's Day so we decided what the heck why not take some pictures again.  Didn't do anything special with them just gave them to her :)

More to come ...

I still have lots more to come, but I'm checking out for this evening! The next pictures will come from August 2010 so I'm almost caught up! woohoo!

First NEWBORN session!

Another good friend of mine gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on July 13, 2010 and asked me to take newborn photos of her! I was a little nervous because I had never done newborn pictures before and I was going to their house so I didn't know about lighting, and space, etc. But it went awesome and I totally loved doing the newborn session! I can't wait to do another one!

Little Miss J ....

Right off the bat, I caught a cute little smirky smile :)
Sleepy baby!
My favorite photo of the entire session! Even though the light shines on her butt ... I still love it!
Same photo, just in a different color!
I found this idea online and thought I would try it out! Parts of her and her face are really dark though so I'm not too happy about that, but the whole idea is cool and I will try it again and also probably use more flower petals.
I like that you can see her eyes in this one!
The ring picture! I think this is a must-do with every newborn session!

Miss A is 4 months old! - July 2010

I got to take more pictures of Miss A and I was so excited to do it! Grandma came along with too, so she sure helped to get some good smiles out of her!

I'm pretty sure she was laughing at Grandma here!

She also, just like Caden really liked chewing on her fingers. For this session I bought a pink sheet and also this fun green fuzzy blanket thing.  Also got a few flowers to use. I had a bean bag chair, but had to return it ... that's still on the "to-get" list!

What do you want me to do with this ?

I love every part of this photo ... the green, the smile, all of it! Such a sweetie!

I really like her eyes in this one!

So simple, yet so beautiful!

So, I was trying to get one of those cute little baby tooshy photos, but this was the only one that looked semi-okay. This was at the end of the session and she had had about enough so I gave it my best try!
